PJ - Not a happy man
Jewell told the clubs official website: "At least we won the game, there were no injuries, we got a clean sheet, John Filan looked very sharp in his first game back since Reading, so there's always positives to take out of it but I was looking for certain players to do a lot more tonight and they didn't produce."

"It could have been worse because it could have gone to extra time. I'll have to give credit Bournemouth, they've come here with a young team and given a good account of themselves. We should be doing a lot a better than that though, I'm disappointed but it's a night to give credit to Bournemouth, they played ever so well."

"I gave people opportunities, there were people crying out for games, there's no better time for them to show what they can do. It was a good pitch, good conditions and it just goes to show if you don't start the game off properly, you can't pick it up. In the end it took Jason [Roberts] to give us the spark we were lacking."

"It must have been an awful game to watch, but don't take anything away from Bournemouth, they played very well."

"I'm disappointed with some of the players tonight, it's very unlike us because one thing we have spot on it the attitude, some of them didn't do themselves justice tonight, and that's disappointing for them as well as the team."

"I don't think it was lack of effort, we didn't have that edge, it just shows if you haven't got that edge, it might only be by five per cent, it's a major part of the team."
