"I don't think the score was that flattering in terms of general play. All the goals came pretty quickly and Watford may fell a little aggrieved by that, but in chances we had most of the play."
"The players came through unscathed, and Andreas [Johansson] has got his first goals for us, and Ryan Taylor's got his first goal for us, so there are plenty of positives to come out of tonight."
"There's no denying Johansson's struggled to settle in, he has got ability but maybe he could have done with scoring early on when he first came, that may have helped his confidence. Maybe he can kick on from here and start to show us what he really is about. He's very good technically."
"We struggled because we're short on strikers and I didn't want to risk Camara for the weekend and we didn't need any more injuries."
"We should have done better in certain situations, but then again we didn't have a striker on the pitch and I suppose to play the way we did in patches is credit to the players."
"I wanted to win tonight. I'd rather lose tonight if it meant winning on Saturday, but we have a winning habit here. We won 3-0 and got a clean sheet so it's not a bad night for us"

"We ended up having to chase the game but that's what we're about. We try to attack. We looked like a throwback to the 1930s there at the end playing a 2-3-5!
"On another day we might have got something but today we didn't. Credit to Wigan, they go through and we don't.
"First half I thought we were very average, Wigan are a team who've got to where they've got with good players and a hard work ethic and I was very disappointed with our workrate in the first half.
"After half time we looked a lot better and in the opening period of the second half we could have perhaps snatched a couple.
"3-0 might seem a little harsh. I thought we were a lot better in the second half than the first, which is a positive thing. In the end their work ethic and experience told.
"The first half they worked harder than we did. We adjusted a few things and had real energy about us after half time. In the opening 15 of the second half, we might have got something."
