Speaking to the official website, the Omani international said: "The mood in the dressing room after the game was fantastic. After the mid-week draw with Liverpool we knew we had deserved more than just a point, but you accept it and move on.
"We arrived at the stadium Saturday morning knowing it was going to be a difficult game but we produced a fantastic performance and deserved the win and three points we really needed.
"The second-half was very different from the first and when Victor (Moses) came on he did a great job for the team, especially with his pace that caused a lot of problems.
"For the hard-work and effort he put in he deserved to be on the score-sheet. But we all worked very hard for the result and four points from two games is a good return."
