The former Birmingham City player is not reknowed for his goalscoring prowess but his wonderstrike at the I-Pro Stadium was enough to seal the three points for Uwe Rosler's men which represented a superb start to 2014.
Beausejour was understandably pleased with the strike and he told the club's official website: “I’m happy to have scored the winning goal and it was a very good strike.
“I hope I celebrated well because I don’t usually get many chances to do that. I really enjoyed scoring the winning goal and celebrating with the supporters.”
The game represented Beausejour's return to action following his suspension served against Burnley just days earlier.
