Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton, and Wolves are all being linked with a permanent move for the striker who is out of favour with the Latics after playing just five minutes under new boss Malky Mackay.
The 23 year old joined the Latics in the summer for a fee believed to be in the region of £4 million and the club are believed to be looking to offload the Frenchman for £3.5 million.
There has been no official word on the transfer although Delort himself has said he is keen to leave the club in search of first team football.
With the Latics struggling at the wrong end of the table new manager Malky Mackay would appreciate the incoming funds to allow him to re-invest during the remainder of the January window.
