Geremi and John on Wish List

Geremi, who signed for Chelsea as a midfielder, has been deputising at right-back for the current Premiership Champions, and Jewell has enquired about the utility man after failing to sign Senegal midfielder Diop.

Diop's Fulham team-mate Collins John, who earlier this month rejected the chance to sign for the Premierships basement club Watford, has also been targetted. John is also wanted by Sheffield United and Charlton, and is expected to move on after falling out of favour with Chris Coleman.

Both targets are wanted on loan. If Jewell succeeds in capturing Collins John, it could mean the end for Lee McCulloch, who is still hoping to complete a move to Rangers, despite the Scottish giants refusal to budge on their laughable first bid of £750,000.
