Jewell was keen on a move for Tekke before the season opened but he couldn't get his club Trabzonspor to sell and is hopeful of success in January.

Sahko, who hails from Senegal, is currently playing in France for St Ettiene and would be available for selection in January as he is not currently in the Senegal squad.

Greg Halford of Colchester is another player being linked. The giant centre back is being watched by a number of top flight clubs including Manchester United.
