The 22 year old forward scored an impressive 24 goals in 36 Ligue 2 games last season and has been targeted by Uwe Rosler to bolster his stumbling forward line.
A club statement on the FC Tours official website read: "The most recent story was that a deal had been struck with Wigan, a club from the English second division. At this time, no deal has been struck with the club, even though discussions are happening and are going well.
"Discussions are also under way with several other clubs. A better offer has been made by another British club, which included a very intriguing link-up with the Tours FC training centre.
"The transfer window is still open and reliable information about any future transfer of Andy Delort will be provided on the club's official website."
