The 32 year old is out of contract with the Latics in the summer who look set to accept offers for the forward in the region of £1 million.
Leicester City are currently in pole position for Maloneys signature although the Scotland international is keen on a move to Everton to be re-united with former Latics boss Roberto Martinez.
There are said to be upto five clubs interested in Maloney and Latics boss Malky Mackay said: "We have had enquiries from various clubs on that one. We have had a bid from one which was rejected and at the moment Shaun is absolutely still my player, and is also showing that he is still my player and I wouldn't expect anything else from him. He's a terrific boy.
"There have been four or five enquiries on Shaun. We will play that by ear. It will be a club decision, but I have to say he has been excellent as a professional. He has massive quality, but he has six months left on his contract, it's frustrating."
If Maloney does leave it will allow Mackay to bring in a further player to his squad as the Latics look to battle against relegation from the Championship.
