Manager Roberto Martinez is very happy with the trip and the hospitality of Ostersunds. He told the Wigan Evening Post: “It’s just a perfect place for pre-season – fantastic facilities, near-enough 24 hours daylight and no distractions whatsoever.
“It’s a very well-known area for us, we know the people here very well and they’ve looked after us again in terms of covering all our needs. Although we’re abroad, once again we’ve felt like we’re at home because of the way we’ve been looked after.
“There have been a few minor alterations from last year because the pre-season this a year is a little shorter than usual. But overall the concepts have remained the same and we’ve all been getting a lot out of it.”
