Wigan Athletic have completed the signing of Michael Jacobs from Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.
The former Northampton Town and Derby County winger has dropped down a division from the Championship in order to join the Latics; after he fell out of favour at Molineux.
The 23-year old played a key role for Wolves when they won the 2013/14 League One title.
However, he only made 12 League appearances last campaign and spent a latter month of the season on loan at Blackpool.
Jacobs has signed a three-year contract at the DW Stadium, after he passed his medical on Monday.
