The 19 year old was signed during the transfer window from Crystal Palace and has been tipped to have a very bright future in the game.
In a move similar to that offered to fellow teenager James McCarthy, Moses is expected to play a role from the substitutes bench against Bolton this evening.
Martinez said: "I will never push a player to be on the pitch when he is not ready. It is a big jump coming from the Championship to the Premier League.
"It is down to individuals how they can adapt to that. It is not a computer game, you don't buy a player to put him straight in. You have to make sure the player is mentally and physically capable of being himself on the pitch.
"That takes a bit of time and we are going to give him the time he needs."
