Lyn Oslo, who's player John Obi Mikel got into a drawn out battle with United and Chelsea, are hoping to avoid a similar transfer saga, and are allowing Edu's agent, John Shittu, finalise the deal.
"We have not been in contact with Wigan, but Ogbuke is going to Wigan on loan for a couple of weeks, then we'll see what happens," said Lyn sporting director Torgeir Bjarman.
"We said if that is what Shittu and Edu want, they have permission to do that.
"I won't speculate on any transfer fees and he has a return ticket in a couple of weeks. The only thing I want to say is that if he is not sold, we have a superb attacker, but if he is sold it will be for a good amount of money."
The player has agreed a short term loan deal, but a £3million transfer fee is said to have been agreed if the player impresses.
