The 19 year old striker was forced off in the game after suffering the injury in the second half and Rosler will be hoping it isn't too serious.
Former Crewe forward Powell has been the best forward player for the Latics this season and if hopes of making a playoff place are to become a reality he is likely to play a big part.
Speaking about the injury to the Wigan Evening Post, Rosler said: “We will see how he is, we had to take him off."
The main focus for Rosler was his disappointment with the goalless draw, particularly after the second half performance.
“It wasn’t a decent point, not really,” Rosler added. “If you’d asked me before the game, I would have taken the point. But having seen the game, especially the second half, I feel there was more there for us.
“I was just so disappointed with the first half. We started so lethargic. We are a very good side when we play with tempo, but when we slow it down and play it into feet, we are very average.”
Next up for the Latics is the visit of Charlton Athletic to the DW Stadium on Saturday as the games start to run out and the fight for points becomes more vital if our play off hopes are to remain realistic.
