Firstly there is the expected departure of Callum McManaman to West Brom. It is believed the Latics have accepted a bid of around £4.75 million for the FA Cup winner with the transfer expected to be completed in the next few days.
McManaman's departure would seemingly signal the end of the departures with Andy Delort being pushed forward into a first team role after impressing in recent weeks.
On the incoming front the club are being linked with a move for twenty-seven year old Leeds United defender Jason Pearce.
Reports on Twitter suggest the former Portsmouth and Bournemouth defender is wanted to sure up the leaky Latics defence.
Also being linked is Burnley striker Lukas Jutkiewicz. The twenty-five year old joined Burnley in the summer from Middlesbrough but has found the step up to the Premier League a challenge.
A bid of £1 million is believed to have been tabled by the Latics.
