Taylor hoping to feature

Taylor told the club's official website: "I'm over the worst now. I thought many times over these past months what it would be like to make the first challenge again, the first 50-50 tackle, but I have complete confidence in the leg now and it's just a question of match fitness.

"I've had a taste of the first team again now, and I want to feature on Sunday against Everton, of course I do. But I know I can't get ahead of myself and I'll listen to the advice of the manager and hte medical staff, who have been absolutely brilliant to me these past months."

Taylor made his first team return as a second half substitute in the 4-0 thrashing at Chelsea last weekend.

He played in the 0-0 draw with Sheffield United Reserves on Wednesday evening alongside fellow first teamer's John Filan, Andreas Granqvist and Kristofer Haestad.
