Valencia completes permenant transfer

Antonio Valencia: Three and a half year deal
To make Valencia's move permenant was one of the first aims of recently apointed manager Steve Bruce had.

The Equadorian international midfield player has joined for an undisclosed fee and signed a three and a half year contract.

The move will be a great relief to supporters who are in doubt as to the talents of the 21 year old.

Valencia himself said: "I am really happy this has been sorted. I have always wanted to play in England and now that Wigan have given me the chance, I am happy to repay them by staying here.

"The Premier League is a fantastic place to play and I have really enjoyed working with Steve Bruce, you can see how the team is motivated now and I think he will be successful here in the seasons to come.

"I also thank the Wigan fans who often sing my name, which makes me really happy to be here!"
